Jessi Hughes - Here is my story....I grew up on a ranch near the small town of Timber Lake, SD.  If you have driven toward Mobridge or Aberdeen from the West you probably went through this town but very easily could have missed it if you blinked.  In 1999, I packed up my bags and headed to the big city of Spearfish (I consider any place with a Wal-Mart and more than one gas station a big city).  In May 2002, I graduated from Black Hills State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a minor in Business Administration.  In July 2005, after testing the waters in the accounting field for a few years, I decided to become a licensed Real Estate Agent.  I know accounting and real estate are not very closely related so you are probably wondering why I became a real estate agent.  Well, if you made it this far through my biography you might as well finish reading and find out what brought me to this point in my life.  My husband, Ryan, owns his own construction company and has kept me involved with many different aspects for the past eight years which naturally got me interested in real estate.  In my free time, I enjoy walking or hiking with Woody, our black lab, visiting my family, traveling, and best of all cruising with my husband in his 1969 Yenko Camaro.  One thing I do not enjoy is writing so please do not hold my biography against me and trust that I can help you find your next home.

Penny Doering - Hello!  I grew up on a ranch in western South Dakota and graduated from Black Hills State College with a degree in business.  After several years working in the banking, law, full-time mommy, and insurance industries, I decided to become a realtor when I “grew up”.  The experiences gained in all of my previous positions have enhanced my career in real estate.  While working as a Realtor® in Sioux Falls for three years, I earned an ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) designation; and I began working to achieve my GRI (Graduate of Real Estate Institute) designation.  I strongly believe that continual learning on my part is extremely beneficial to my clients.
